21st Century Summer Programming

SUMMER 2026
We have been busy planning some exciting summer experiences for our students!
PARENTS: Please watch for text and email notifications so you do not miss important summer program registration information.
  • Programming will run for 8 weeks, starting June 1, 2026 and ending on July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday.
  • The programs will not operate on Fridays.
  • NO PROGRAM on June 5, 12, 19, 26, 29, 30 and on July 1, 2, 3, 10, 17, 24.
  • Lunch will be provided. NO breakfast will be provided. Students must eat breakfast before arriving at camp.
  • Parents will provide transportation from home to camp and back.
 

Current Unit 40 Students in Grades 3-12:  Registration is open NOW and has been extended to Wednesday, May 20!

Current Unit 40 Students in Grades K-5

The Effingham Unit 40 School District is pleased to offer the 21st Century Summer Program for students in grades K-5 in the current 2025-2026 school year from June 1 through July 30! The purpose of the program is to provide a motivating, enriching, and education experience for children during the summer in a safe, structured, and supervised environment.
 
The K-5 program will be included as part of the Effingham Park District's Adventure Camp. Unit 40 parents received the registration form link through text and email. The Effingham Park District will require additional paperwork and will have additional information to share with you. Registration opened Wednesday, April 1 and closed Sunday, April 19 at midnight. If additional slots are available, registration will reopen, and a waitlist will be maintained once the program has filled.
