Tech Service

The Unit 40 technology team maintains the networking and security for the 4,000+ staff and student devices and other technology equipment that are required to provide the best learning environment for our students in the digital age. The Effingham district features 1:1 devices for K-12 students as well as fiber internet, WiFi, digital whiteboards, and other tech innovations. We are establishing policies and practices on the use of AI and plan to conduct additional audits to improve our security posture. The tech team also manages data privacy on behalf of the district employees and students.
