Summer Athletic Camp Opportunities
All students attending Summer Athletic camps will need to complete and submit this "Student Activity - Agreement to Participate" waiver at their first day of camp. Parents should plan to complete this paperwork on the first day of camp, or have their student carry in a completed waiver.
GIRLS YOUTH SHOOTING CAMP | MAY 20-22
The 2026 Summer Basketball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of shooting the basketball. This camp is open to all area girls basketball players entering 1st through 8th grade. You do not have to attend Effingham Schools.

Age appropriate basket heights will be used for the younger players.
Campers need to wear basketball shoes and bring your own water bottle.

BOYS YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP | MAY 26-28
The 2026 Effingham Hearts Youth Boys Basketball Camp is open for registration for area boys entering grades 1st - 8th grades in the 2026-2027 school year.

FCA POWER CAMP | MAY 28-29
(Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
Focus: This camp is FREE for kids entering grades 5th through 8th from all schools and will be filled with action packed fun, sports development, competitions, and encouraging speakers and coaches who will help these young athletes grow in their faith and become better young men and women in their sport and lives. Athletes will have the opportunity to play baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, pickleball, rugby, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, and wrestling.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP | JUNE 1-4
Coach Bohnhoff, assistant coaches, and the EHS volleyball players will instruct the participants on all things volleyball. This camp is open to all area girls volleyball players entering 3rd through 12th grade. You do not have to attend Effingham Schools.

The aim of this camp is to improve passing, setting, serving, hitting, and defensive skills in volleyball.
Wear shorts, t-shirt, knee pads and tennis shoes.

The 2025 Summer Youth Tennis Clinic will focus on the fundamentals of Tennis. This camp is open to all area tennis players entering 1st-8th grade. You do not have to attend Effingham Schools to attend this camp.

Focus: Wrestling Techniques, this will be for boys and girls. No experience required.

YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP | JULY 7-9
Join us for an action-packed 3-day Baseball Skills Camp designed to help players of all levels sharpen their fundamentals and elevate their game. Led by experienced coaches along with current and former players, this camp emphasizes skill development, confidence-building, and having fun through instructional drills, small-group coaching, and competitive games. This camp is open to all area baseball players entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. You do not have to attend Effingham Schools.
Each day will focus on key aspects of baseball:
Day 1:
Fielding Mechanics – Learn proper techniques for infield and outfield play, glove work, footwork, and positioning.
Day 2:
Hitting & Baserunning – Develop a consistent swing, improve plate approach, and gain confidence on the base paths through drills and game-like situations.
Day 3:
Throwing, Pitching & Catching – Focus on arm strength, throwing accuracy, pitching mechanics, and catcher-specific skills including blocking and receiving.

EJHS Softball Camp is designed to help players of all levels sharpen their fundamentals and elevate their game. This camp is open to all area girls softball players entering 5th through 8th grade. You do not have to attend Effingham Schools. Bring your softball equipment (glove, bat, helmet, etc) and your own water bottle

Individual skill development: throwing, fielding, batting, pitching, catching
Dates: July 20-22
Time: 8:00-10:30am
