We are thrilled to share the mission of our local Effingham Chapter of Project Fire Buddies, an incredible initiative where the Effingham Fire Department partners with children battling critical illnesses to bring them hope, joy, and support during difficult times.

Members of PFB pay home visits, often times arriving in a parade of fire vehicles with flashing lights and blaring sirens. PFB can assist families in lots of ways! Healthcare privacy laws can make it challenging to reach the children who could benefit from this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
