Awards and Scholarships

The Unit 40 Mentor Program awarded it's first ever scholarship in May 2018. Scholarship awardees are deserving Effingham High School graduates who participated in the Mentor Program by continuing to meet with a mentor through out their high school years.

Each student must apply for the scholarship, participate in an interview, and meet certain qualifications in order to be eligible. Mentors also write a letter of recommendation for the scholarship. We are so proud of our mentees that successfully graduate high school and then choose to further their education.
